Neil Illman - Forward

Born in Doncaster, Neil began his career with Middlesborough as a trainee and graduated through to the first team for whom he made one League appearance before being released. He joined Unibond First Division outfit Eastwood Town and after scoring prolifically for the Badgers, he moved to Plymouth Argyle. He made 31 League appearances for the Devon outfit, scoring four times and whilst at Home Park he also had a 5 game loan spell with Cambridge United. He then joined Exeter City for whom he made 8 League appearances, scoring twice before being released. He joined Northwich Victoria in 1998 and was a regular for them before being freed earlier this season. He had brief spells with Doncaster Rovers and Frickley Athletic before joining Barrow at the end of February 2000. He made his debut in the home game with Leigh.
