Nicky Peverell - Striker

Born in Middlesborough, Nicky began his career on Middlesborough's books but made his League debut for neighbours Hartlepool United. He played 36 League games for United, scoring three times before joining York City. He made 29 League appearances for the Minstermen, scoring twice, before having a spell in Hong Kong. He joined Bishop Auckland on his return in August 1996 and finished the 1996-97 season as top scorer in the UniBond League with 40 League and Cup goals. The following season, he again featured for Bishops before a brief spell with Gateshead in the Conference. He played for Woodlands Wellington of Singapore in the summer of 1998 before featuring for Blyth Spartans, Whitby Town and Dunston Federation in the 1998-99 season. Nick joined Barrow in August 1999 and made his debut in the opening game of the season at home to Guiseley. He was a member of the Chairman's Cup winning squad in the 2000-01 season and picked up a 'Player of the Year' award that season. He missed much of 2001-2002 season through injury and has missed the whole of the 2002-03 campaign for the same reason.
He trained with the squad in the summer of 2003 but failed to regain match fitness.
