Ian Arnold - Forward

Born in Durham, Ian began his career with Middlesborough and made three League appearances for them before joining Carlisle United for whom he made 47 League appearances, scoring 11 goals. In 1994, he was transferred to Kettering Town in the Conference for a five figure fee. Whilst at Rockingham Road, he won two England semi professional caps. In November 1995, he moved to Stalybridge Celtic where he continued to score on a regular basis. His next move saw him play with Kidderminster Harriers. He spent a season and a half at Aggborough before joining Southport for a five figure fee. He joined Morecambe in the summer of 2001 but fell out of favour at Christie Park in the early part of the 2002-03 season. He joined Barrow in October 2002 and made his debut in the draw at Vauxhall Motors.
He started the current season on loan at Workington. He returned to the club in mid September. Released in May 2004 and signed for Workington.
