Brian Dawson - Striker

Born in Millom,. Brian featured for local sides Bootle and Millom before playing in the North West Counties League with Holker O.B. he first joined Barrow in January 1999 and made his debut in the Conference at home to Kingstonian. He left the club that summer and played in the UniBond League for both Netherfield (now Kendal Town) and Workington before returning to play for Bootle in the West Lancs League. He rejoined the club in October 2002 and marked his return with a hat trick for the Reserves.

Update: December 2003. Brian is now back up the coast at Bootle taking over the reins as player-manager, following in the footsteps of his late father, Brian Snr.
