Jamie Patterson - Midfielder

Born in Dumfries. Jamie joined Halifax Town as a trainee and joined them as a full time professional in 1991. He made 86 league appearances for them, scoring 18 times before earning a transfer to Falkirk in December 1994. He made just 4 league appearances for the Bairns and joined Scunthorpe United in October 1995. He played 55 league games for United scoring twice before returning to Halifax Town for a second spell. He helped the Shaymen regain their league place by winning the Conference title and made a further 64 league appearances for them, scoring 17 times before being released in the summer of 2000. He then joined Doncaster Rovers and helped them to the Conference title and Division 3 titles in successive seasons, making 8 further football league appearances, scoring once, before being released in the summer of 2004. He joined Barrow in July 2004. He made his debut in the first home game of the season against Southport. He made his final appearance for the club in the 2-1 home won over Kettering Town in late October 2004, before he signed for the Northamptonshire club. During 2005-06 he had a spell as player coach at Kettering but left the club in the summer of 2006. Thought to be going to Australia and setting up a soccer school.
