Over the last 15 years it has frequently been asked why the name of the site uses barrowfc and not barrowafc. This dates back over 15 years to when the site was first set up. The system we used in those days restricted usernames to 8 characters, hence barrowafc was too long to use so we shortened it to barrowfc. As the site grew and moved servers we just kept the same name going and purchased domain names to match.
